The Bolton Velocity vehicle cellular booster has a maximum gain of +50 dB. This is the most allowed by the FCC in the US. The Velocity boosts 4G LTE cellular voice and data for every carrier (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and more), with 5G data covering low-band Verizon and AT&T.
The outdoor Mighty Mag antenna by Bolton Technical stands only 4 inches tall and has a super powerful magnet mount base. It offers up to 3.1 dBi gain, drawing in even a weak 4G signal. It is discreet enough for your everyday ride, and powerful enough to keep you connected even in challenging signal areas.

Installation

1. Install the Outside Antenna
Place antenna on top of vehicle, toward the back
Run cable across vehicle roof and inside.
Place cable in door seal. -
2. Install the Inside Antenna
Find a location for the inside antenna. We recommend placing it:
Within 2-3 feet of typical cell phone location,
At least 8 inches (20cm) from cellular devices,
At least 4 inches (10cm) from metal.
Attach it with the included velcro or vent clip. -
3. Place Booster and Connect Cables
Place booster in a well-ventilated location. We suggest beneath a seat or within the front console.
Connect the cable from the outside antenna to the connection marked OUTSIDE and the cable from the inside to the connection marked INSIDE. -
4. Connect Power
Connect the DC power cord to your vehicle’s cigarette lighter and attach it to the booster. Power on.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Velocity boost 5G?
The Velocity is 5G ready, which means that it can boost data up to 5G speeds. It is future-proof and will work with new technologies.
Does the Velocity work when the vehicle is turned off?
As the Velocity works via the cigarette lighter in your vehicle, it will differ from car to car. Some vehicles will power the booster with the ignition on, while some will work even with the car completely off.
Do I need cell signal for the Velocity to work?
Yes. For any signal booster to work you need at least one bar of outside signal.
What's the difference between the different Velocity kits?
Each Velocity kit comes with a different set of antennas. The standard kit (BT459624-M) has a Mighty Mag magnet mount antenna and an inside flat panel antenna. The trucker kit (BT459624-T) has an outside Blade antenna and an inside flat panel antenna. The RV kit (BT459624-RV) has an outside Blade antenna and an inside whip antenna.
What do I do if my signal doesn’t improve with the Bolton Velocity kit?
Firstly, make sure your inside and booster are far enough away from each other. If that still doesn’t work, make sure all your cables are connected properly.
