What Frequencies Does this Site Survey Scanner Measure?

The PRiSM site survey scanner measures frequencies from 70 MHz to 6 GHz, covering a wide range of wireless technologies—including 5G, LTE, WiFi, public safety (P25), UHF, and VHF. This allows technicians to scan and assess multi-technology networks with a single, compact device. Limitations will apply based on the model chosen.

How is the Site Survey Scanner Powered?

The scanner is powered directly from the Samsung tablet via a USB-C connection, no batteries or external charges needed. It attaches magnetically for easy, on-the-go use.

How is Data Shared or Exported?

You can generate detailed reports that include annotated floor plans, survey measurements, prediction maps, and regulatory compliance, directly from the tablet or Unity on the web. Reports can be exported in PDF, PPT, DOC, XLS, and other formats for easy sharing and review.

What if I Do Not Have a Floor Plan to Preload for a Site Survey?

If a floor plan isn't available, you can take a picture of the posted evacuation plan, sketch one directly within the iBwave Mobile Survey app, or use satellite maps to capture the venue and geocode it. This allows you to still document the site, annotate as you go, and generate useful survey visuals without needing a preloaded file.

How Much Cloud Storage is Included?

Each license includes 3 GB of iBwave Cloud storage, with upgrade options available for up to 60 GB to support larger projects and team collaboration.

Does the iBwave Mobile Survey + Scanner Require a Subscription?

The tablet and scanner are a one-time purchase. The iBwave Mobile Survey app requires a subscription, which includes a 1-year license for iBwave Unity Lite cloud services. After the first year, renewal fees apply for continued app use and annual scanner calibration. Users also have the option to upgrade to the full iBwave Unity Cloud platform for expanded features and collaboration tools.
